I hope you have seen at least one of the Indiana Jones movies. If not, please do. And then, when you realize you love it, watch the others. I'm so glad they finally came out with DVDs! I am listing all three at once not because they are the same, but because my reviews would all sound the same. Each movie in the trilogy -- Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, and The Last Crusade -- is great. I like the sense of adventure, I laugh a lot, I love the way George Lucas & company made a hero who is simultaneously very cool and awkwardly hilarious. All of these movies contain tons of action, loads of humor, and Harrison Ford at his best. No, they aren't the greatest films ever recorded... some scenes are a little too unbelievable, some of the special effects are dated, some of the dialogue is awkward. But, taken in light of the quality and downright lovableness of these movies I will happily disregard all of the above. The Indiana Jones trilogy is a whole bunch of fun to watch again and again, and that's all there is to it. 5 out of 5 points for being so thoroughly enjoyable.
