jh: First, a quick disclaimer: I'm not the type to flip out and decide a band is my new favorite after hearing two songs. Considering this, Stereo Motion is not my new favorite band, and Stereo Motion has not suddenly become my favorite CD. Considering THAT - I like this album a whole lot. I enjoy bands who know how to be fast and noisy without careening out of control, and Stereo Motion does so very well. Their music is a radio-friendly sort of rock: no shortage of pounding drums or jamming guitars, but few rough edges to be found. This, combined with catchy lyrics and an upbeat sound, makes for a CD that's easy to get into and plenty of fun to listen to. There are several songs from Stereo Motion that stand out in my head and guarantee this CD a long-term spot in my playlist. "Loving Every Minute," "Still A Little Shaken Up," and "Ghost" are my favorites. If you are a fan of modern rock, it'd be worth your time to give this group a listen.
