One of the few, rare comedies that manages to be hilarious and do so while sending out a clear, intelligent theme. A little slow the first time around if you don't know what to expect, but a truly funny movie. Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn are great individually but as a team in Swingers they are even better. This is a flick that any guy who has ever been dumped (or any guy, in other words) will relate to and love. If you want a comedy about dating and a sharp but usually subtle critique of the party scene, it doesn't get any better than Swingers. I give it the full 5 out of 5 because unlike most comedies, Swingers is not stupid and shallow (not that there's necessarily something wrong with that).
