An oldie but most definitely a goodie. Put George Lucas, Ron Howard, and Val Kilmer in the same picture and it's guaranteed to be great. Even if the whole movie were just two hours of them sitting around. Well maybe that's not true but Willow certainly is great. If you like fantasy movies and probably even if you don't, you'll like Willow. A solid amount of swordfighting (which Val Kilmer is sweet at, might I add), a story that you can get into, and several very funny scenes. The special effects may be more than a decade old but the action sequences are still cool and this movie is very entertaining - the sort you ought to expect from George Lucas. I give it 4 of 5 points only because any fantasy film looks bad next to Lord of The Rings.
